The release of generative AI has been called the biggest technological revolution of the last 15 years, maybe even ever. Unfortunately, technology is often developed by a homogeneous group of people. Which is not necessarily representative of our world. Their biases can be reinforced in AI, even if that was not intended. This so-called revolution turns out to be one of the most unfinished solutions available for public beta testing. 

Despite increasingly thorough stress testing, it is difficult, if not impossible, to obtain one image-generating AI to present  a female CEO. If you ask it to show a queer couple, all results will have two people with white skin. Generative AI is technology’s answer to the drunk uncle at the Christmas party. Can someone make this exhausting new family member get their act together?
