After 20 years behind the scenes of the music industry as a musician, songwriter and producer for renowned artists, Frugaard, or Reidar F. Opdal, is finally ready to take Norway by storm. The debut album “Egentlig” (2021) is a collection of brilliant pop songs with solid spiritual depth and heavier electronic productions with poetic lyrics. The work is about being human today, about our inner forces, duality, light and darkness, and about being vulnerable. “Egentlig” is a unique, but also an important contribution to Norwegian music, and the album got great reviews and was well received by critics.

Frugaard’s list of musical merits is long. From being a regular musician for Unni Wilhelmsen, Josefin Winther and ORBO, receiving two Spellemann awards with ORBO & The Longshots (2008) and Gina Aspenes (2013)respectively, years of touring in both the US and Europe , as well as being producer and songwriter on several critically acclaimed albums.

For the performance, Frugaard is bringing two very competent musicians. Together they deliver real music from a wide range of genres.
