In the summer of 2022, we were hit by terror. Eirik himself was at London pub. Afterwards, he asked himself what he could do for the fight for queer rights. The result was a queer Norwegian liberation rock album that explicitly addresses queer love between boys, lust, loneliness, vulnerability, dance and fun!

The title “Nattas Barn” is inspired by an interview in which Kim Friele mentioned the gays who went out into the streets, parks and public toilets after dark – because of shame, taboo and incitement – to find other queers with whom they could experience closeness, sex and love with as “Children of the Night”.

All the songs on the album deal with various themes and issues related to living life as queer today, and point a critical finger at the role of religion in this struggle for liberation.
