For a lot of people the road to finding their own identity and pride in oneself is long and confusing. Self acceptance, finding one’s place in society and still being okay and living one’s life can be hard. Oftentimes it leads to a lot of insecurity and feeling alone if you are experiencing emotions that do not match what we are taught is right. When opening one’s eyes to the existing diversity, there can be many overwhelming impressions. 

Elina Volder grew up in Denmark, but has spent the last 20 years living in Norway. She has experienced outsiderness in many ways throughout her life. In this talk she will tell us about her life and her road to self acceptance and finding others who accept you for who you are. Today she is a strong woman, and among other things she is the Deputy Head of PolyNorway.
