Over the past year, Moyka has written and produced what resulted in the beautiful debut album “The Revelations of Love”. The album has received great reviews both in Norway and abroad, with fitting descriptions such as “a masterpiece” and “the future of scandipop” in writing about Moyka and the album. Monika Engeseth originally comes from Hallingdal, but has in recent years lived in Bergen. Here she has experimented with a soundscape of electronic pop, inspired by big emotions and contrasts. Her beautiful, melancholic lyrics are woven into a soundscape that balances on the border between the organic and the electronic universe. And at the center of it all is Moyka with her clear and strong vocals.

On stage, she delivers an energetic live show in tune with the powerful music. With strong performances on Vill Vill Vest and Den Hemmelige Festen in Bergen (2018) as well as the bigger festivals such as by: Larm, Bergenfest, Øyafestivalen (2019), and when she earlier this year got the honor of supporting Sigrid on her Norway. Again and again she has convinced both the audiences  and critics.
