Kajander got off to a flying start in his career with the debut single “E du den du vil vær” in 2016. For this song, he was given the title “Ukas Urørt” on NRK P3 and was later listed on the same channel. It all happened just months after Bendik Kajander and his cousin Benjamin Giørtz made some songs in a barn in Lofoten. That same summer Kajander played at festivals all over Norway before signing with Universal Music Norway. The sequel “Når e du klar?” came immediately after and the artist was again listed on both NRK P3 and on the A-list of NRK P1. The song was also the soundtrack to “Bloggerne” on TV2.

At the beginning of 2017 Kajander impressed at the festivals by: Larm and Trondheim Calling, and some of the highlights that followed was VG’s top list in Lofoten, Parkfestivalen in Bodø, and several television appearances, among these TV-Aksjonen and Sommeråpent on NRK1.

Now Kajander returns to the stage with full force, and several new songs will be released in 2021. Here he combines a colorful pop sound with honest  lyrics.
