Representations of gender and sexuality are constantly emerging. Which makes the concept of  ”the others” fundamental to humanity, to find the difference in itself in relation to the outside world. Central to the photo series are people who are at the forefront of change. Paulina works through ideas about identity, culture and is particularly interested in the relationship between us and ”the others”. 

The question is who are ”the others”?  Can something viewed as aesthetic contribute to a political change? 

This is an ongoing photo series, and exhibited is a selection of photos of  Bergen personalities with different identities where we have in common a desire to be ourselves.
